Table Mountain is a flat-topped mountain forming a prominent landmark overlooking the city of Cape Town in South Africa, and is featured in the Flag of Cape Town and other local government insignia.
It would not have been a trip to Cape Town if we had not gone to Table Mountain.
The guides told us that we might spot some local wildlife atop the mountain, I did not expect to find some hipsters in their natural habitat, who sat and stacked rocks, took a photo and a selfie with the stacked rocks, then walked away. This is a common practice among this particular species and more information can be found on their instagrams.
Table Mountain deserves its spot as one of the 7 Greatest Natural Wonders of the World. Cape Town has captured our hearts and It will be very difficult to leave in a few days. We miss the kids though, seeing them again when term resumes will help keep our spirits high.
Stay happy, smile and laugh as much as you can.
